I loved that it ended how it started, sharing the cupcake, only now it was Matt giving it to Dom and this time indeed sharing had an even more special meaning :)
I just KNEW Matt would find something in Dom's room when he went to get him water and their reactions after that were perfect. And the kissing, I loved it.
At the beginning, the image of Matt lying on the bed with his eyes closed that sent Dom into that little moment of introspection was also great. Yess, I can get you Dom, it does things to us *squirms* lol
Most of all, I felt like there was a purpose to every scene, to everything that you wrote. I like it when I'm reading something and I feel like the author knows what they're doing. Excellent job. Whoever did the prompt, I'm sure they'll be very happy :)
