I definitely did, and I have this weird satisfaction of knowing that my efforts are rewarded somehow, even if it's just extra points and the like.

The rain feels heavy on something, if the rain felt heavily it does sound like the rain has feelings that are felt "heavily". Different context that makes all the difference, I'll try to explain it to my teacher, thank you so much!
