A Quick Rant on Ignorance

Was this the authority figure hiding the ugly truth? or was this a way to say that what only matters in life is the legacy you leave in the world? Either way, I love Diego and Frida and I'm glad I know more about the subject, they seem human now, not this perfect power couple in the world of Mexican painting that everyone sees on the outside.
Sorry for the annoying handwriting, by the way

Hm, it's weird that your teacher left that out. Their lives and the way they chose to live it will have affected their work. But maybe, in the end, their work is the only thing that mattered to the public, and their private lives should not influence the way we look at it.

yeah, I'm not sure about it. Their art was certainly their biggest feature. I'm just a bit annoyed for not getting the whole picture. I hate not knowing things so xD
Something worth mentioning is I had no examples of bisexual people when I was questioning my sexuality. I knew of gay and lesbian people but I didn't know of ANYONE who liked guys and girls equally so I considered myself "between lesbian and straight" until I discovered what I really was. Had I known about Frida's life story I would've avoided so much confusion. Nowadays there is technology so it's easier to find role models to identify with but back then my only knowledge came from my parents and my teachers and neither had the information I needed. Small omissions that could have changed a lot.
